Growing up in the Annapolis area, Bob graduated from McDonogh School and continued his education by earning his B.S. in Psychology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Upon receiving his doctorate, Bob returned to the Baltimore area and began teaching in the evening school of Johns Hopkins University, UMBC, and the University of Baltimore. Simultaneously, he founded Personnel Development Corporation, a full-service management consulting firm that specialized in organizational development, employee involvement, selection, marketing, training, and team development. His particular interest in management cultures and his development of the unique management concept, “Management by Cooperation”, caused him to become a well-known national speaker.
Bob greatly enjoys helping organizations of all sizes adapt to change and is particularly interested in those activities/expenditures that enhance an employee-driven “Green” work environment while providing a significant financial payback.
