Jeanette F. Cozzolino, M.A.

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Jean has always considered Maryland her home.  She earned both her B.S. Degree in Psychology and Business and her M.A. in Psychology from Towson University.  Having worked in Administration for the Sun Life Insurance Company for a number of years, Jean began her solo business career as a Management Consultant in Baltimore with Personnel Development Corporation.  Her primary responsibilities included organization development, management training, and team-building.

Moving on to work full-time with a former client, Jean became V.P. of Human Resources for Judd’s, Incorporated of Strasburg, Virginia.  While overseeing over 1,000 employees in this position, one of Jean’s major initiatives was starting a Corporate Wellness Program, long before such programs became popular.  It was in this position that Jean learned, first-hand, the importance of becoming “Green”.

After years of working in Strasburg, Jean decided to branch out on her own and, for the next 10 years, she owned a variety of businesses that focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  This lifestyle enabled her to pursue her research into healthy lifestyles and “Green” living.

Then, in 2009, after becoming involved with The Green Business League, Jean became a Certified Green Consultant, created Greener Perspectives, LLC, and began offering Green consulting services.
